Meeting of APESP with the Government of the State of São Paulo

On September 24, APESP was received at the Palácio dos Bandeirantes, in São Paulo, by the Secretary of Science, Technology and Innovation, Vahan Agopyan, by the head of international consultancy, Samo Tosatti, by the international advisor Pedro Lagonegro and by the international advisor Gabriela Bertolino.

It was an opportunity to share ideas and visions that highlighted the strong convergence of common interests and challenges.

Firstly, the invitation addressed to APESP’s associated universities to deepen partnerships and potential investments with institutions in the State of São Paulo, also promoting the creation of cooperation networks with its main universities. Secondly, the practice of openness and transparency at Palácio dos Bandeirantes stands out, which integrates students into high-level meetings, offering them a unique opportunity for direct contact with professional reality and approach to public life.

This meeting reinforces APESP’s role in building institutional bridges and asserting Portuguese private higher education in the international arena, contributing to a strategic agenda of academic cooperation between Portugal and Brazil.
