State of Education 2024: Challenges for a More Democratic, More Ethical, More Cultured, and Fairer School

This is how the latest Report from the National Education Council presents itself, documenting the current state of education in Portugal. In the analysis of Higher Education, data on the private, social, and cooperative sector is highlighted, which has grown over the last decade – currently covering 20% of enrolled students – and also an increase in scholarships, which support and seek to encourage permanence at this level of education, contributing to successful professional pathways.
