The Santa Maria Health School once again highlights the transformative role of private and cooperative higher education institutions through the project “Saúde à Porta” (Health at the Door), which was recently featured in a report by TVI.
The initiative, led by final-year students and faculty members from the Nursing Department, promotes screenings, awareness campaigns, and personalized support for vulnerable populations, caring not only for their health but also for the dignity and loneliness that so many people face.
APESP commends the Santa Maria Health School, as well as the students and faculty involved, for their exemplary contribution to education grounded in social responsibility, the humanization of care, and community intervention.
