APESP hosted Prof. John Edwards, Secretary-General of the European Association of Institutions in Higher Education (EURASHE), at its headquarters. EURASHE is one of the leading European organizations representing higher education institutions, with a particular focus on applied higher education, pedagogical innovation, and links to the labor market.
EURASHE plays a significant role in the European Higher Education Area, actively contributing to the development of policies, programs, and initiatives within the framework of the Bologna Process, quality assurance, academic mobility, and the strengthening of cooperation between European institutions.
This visit provided an opportunity to present APESP, its member institutions, and the role that Portuguese private higher education plays in both national and European systems. It also served to promote the diversity and potential of the institutions represented by the Association within EURASHE.
This meeting thus opens a new perspective for cooperation between APESP and EURASHE, creating the conditions for the development of joint initiatives and for strengthening the participation of APESP’s member institutions in European higher education networks and dynamics.
