APESP and iStrategy together for the future of education

Preparing inspiring classes for students. Designing detailed models for an engineering, health, or many other areas of knowledge project. Collecting and quickly analyzing an extraordinary amount of data. These are some of the future possibilities that more than 80,000 students, 9,000 lecturers, and the rest of the community of non-state higher education institutions will have with the signing of the collaboration protocol between the Portuguese Association of Private Higher Education (APESP) and iStrategy, the sole Apple Education partner for Portugal, holding the Apple Authorised Education Specialist competency

Through this protocol, APESP’s associated institutions will have access to in-person training or webinars on the use of Apple technologies in the classroom. Special prices will also be provided for the purchase of iPads and Macs, as well as the possibility of financing (Apple Financial Services) with insurance included for the institutions’ projects.

For APESP, this initiative contributes significantly to enriching the educational experience, providing more engaging pedagogical practices, and consequently creating more opportunities for success both in the classroom and in the conducting of projects and research. “Through this strategic partnership with iStrategy, non-state universities and polytechnics have the opportunity to implement Apple technology, which offers powerful tools to improve educational practices, foster collaboration, and stimulate student creativity,” states António Almeida Dias, the association’s president.

“This protocol is of extreme importance for Portuguese Private Higher Education, as it will allow the implementation of pedagogical transformation projects with Apple products in social, private, and cooperative higher education institutions,” says José Trindade, CEO of iStrategy, who also works with primary, secondary, and professional schools.
