Almeida-Dias: “There was an attempt to diminish Private Higher Education and portray a different image of what it is”

The president of the Portuguese Association of Private Higher Education (APESP), António Almeida-Dias, denounces to the newspaper NOVO the “negative discrimination” that private universities and polytechnics have been subjected to for years, which are still unable to recognize foreign degrees and diplomas. This is one of the concerns he will convey to Minister Fernando Alexandre, from whom he expects a political signal to overcome the issue.
