Egas Moniz promoted the sixth edition of its Academic Conference between November 24 and 28, 2025, marking a week dedicated to science, innovation, and a commitment to health and social development.
The opening session coincided with World Science Day, kicking off an event that brought together over 1400 participants, including faculty, researchers, students, and professionals from various fields represented at the institution.
The central theme of this edition was “Egas Moniz and One Health, with inclusive and sustainable communities,” reflecting a multidisciplinary approach that promoted debate on well-being, inclusion, and sustainability in building balanced communities. Aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, the program included conferences, workshops, and debates focused on prevention, early diagnosis, and therapeutic innovation to improve citizens’ quality of life.
