“Held over two days, at ESE de Paula Frassinetti and Universidade da Maia, the meeting brought together several faculty members from the Education Institutions of the Pedagogy XXI Center of Excellence and invited facilitators in a collaborative environment, which aimed not only to reinforce the identity and cohesion of Pedagogy XXI, but also to share common values, goals, and strategic teaching actions for the future in Higher Education (HE).
This Bootcamp was designed as an opportunity to create a time and space for sharing, critical analysis, and co-creation among participants with the goal of (re)configuring teaching practices, making them more innovative and inclusive, considering the alignment of perspectives on Learning Designer, Inclusion in HE, Active Methodologies, Artificial Intelligence in Education, and Pedagogical Assessment in HE, the establishment of priorities, in addition to fostering the feeling of belonging to a common mission.
The “Pedagogy XXI” consortium comprises 25 Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), which act as co-promoting entities, distributed from North to South of mainland Portugal and the Autonomous Region of Madeira (with distribution across districts such as Aveiro, Braga, Faro, Funchal, Lisbon, Porto, Setúbal, and Viseu).
The consortium brings together HEIs that operate in the most diverse scientific areas, namely in Health, Sports, Psychology, Education, and Social and Human Sciences.”
