Egas Moniz School of Health & Science has achieved the 30th position worldwide for SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-being – in the Times Higher Education Sustainability Impact Ratings 2026, among 1,646 institutions from 116 countries.
This is the institution’s highest ranking ever, positioning itself also in 5th place in Europe and 3rd in the Iberian Peninsula for this goal.
At the national level, Egas Moniz also holds the 1st place for SDG 1 – No Poverty, ex aequo with the Universities of Coimbra and Aveiro, and is the highest-ranked Portuguese private institution in SDG 3 and SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals.
A result of great international relevance, which brings prestige to Egas Moniz, Portuguese private higher education, and the country.
