As part of its mission to promote quality assurance and the continuous improvement of higher education in Portugal, A3ES organized a Seminar dedicated to discussing the “Guiding Principles for the Development and Improvement of Internal Quality Management Systems in Higher Education Institutions in Portugal.” The event took place on June 16th, 2026, at Teatro Thalia. APESP was represented by Vice-President Armando Jorge Carvalho, who participated in the “Roundtable: IQMS as living instruments of institutional governance: from compliance to continuous improvement.”
