ISEC Lisboa promotes an induction and integration programme for new faculty members

SEC Lisboa organised Happy Arrival Week – Faculty from 29 September to 1 October, as part of the INOVEDU project. This induction and integration programme aimed to welcome new faculty members, familiarise them with the institution and facilitate their integration into the academic community.

Over three days, participants had the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of ISEC Lisboa’s identity, culture and different institutional ecosystems through sessions focusing on quality management, the digital ecosystem, pedagogical innovation, research and internationalisation.

The programme opened with a session dedicated to communication channels and the representation of the ISEC Lisboa brand, highlighting the importance of using the correct brand assets to ensure consistent and clear brand identification. This was followed by the session “ISEC Lisboa’s Identity, Quality Management and Digital Ecosystem”, which introduced the main processes, resources and tools supporting academic activities.

The second day focused on “Pedagogical Culture and Innovation at ISEC Lisboa”, exploring the institution’s pedagogical identity and its commitment to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning practices.

The programme concluded with the session “ISEC Lisboa’s Scientific and International Culture”, which explored opportunities for faculty engagement in research, innovation and international cooperation.

As part of the INOVEDU project, Happy Arrival Week – Faculty reflects ISEC Lisboa’s commitment to the professional development of its academic staff, fostering institutional awareness, the sharing of good practices and engagement across the different dimensions of academic activity.

This initiative contributes to strengthening an institutional culture grounded in quality, pedagogical innovation and collaboration, recognising the key role of faculty members in fulfilling ISEC Lisboa’s mission.
